Dr. Angela Mace Christian is Assistant Professor of music history in the School of Music, Theatre and Dance at Colorado State University. Christian's research focuses on gender, society, and kinship in the long nineteenth century. She has lived and researched in Berlin, Germany, and presented her research at conferences in America, Canada, the UK, and Europe. Christian received her Ph.D. in music from Duke University and she holds a Bachelor of Music in piano performance from the Blair School of Music at Vanderbilt University. Read her full bio here.
