Are you inspired when you worship at St. Luke’s and yearn to experience the liturgy on a still deeper level?
There are many ways to join in actively leading our services. If you are curious about becoming an Acolyte, Chalice Minister, Lector, Usher, or Greeter, join us to learn more about the meaningful ways to go deep in worship. Youth and adults are welcome!
- Parents, would you like your 11- to 18-year-old to continue to deepen their faith, to learn more about worship in the Episcopal tradition, and to help lead our services? Our acolyte ministry is a great way to help our young people explore their faith, learn our rituals and practices, and grow in leadership and community.
Youth in grades 5-8 will attend this meeting as their Sunday School class. Whether or not they would like to become acolytes at this time, youth will learn about how and why lay people participate in leading worship in the Episcopal Tradition, and get to know clergy and lay leaders involved in these ministries.
Parents are encouraged to attend as well, to learn about our renewed worship ministries, and to consider serving together as a family.
- Adults, being a Chalice Minister, Lector, Usher or Greeter is a way to offer your gifts in worship, enrich your prayer life, and deepen your relationships at St. Luke’s.
We invite you to join us in the Library on Sunday, September 25 at 9:30am to learn about our renewed worship ministries.
We are looking forward to sharing our plans for fall with you. Refreshments and child care will be provided. RSVP to join us.
