Sacred Harp Shape Note Singing

First* Monday of every month at 7 p.m. in the choir room.

Not a concert -- come to sing! Sacred Harp is a traditional American style of non-denominational a capella hymn singing.

This hauntingly beautiful music is typically sung by amateurs and uses different shapes that correspond to pitch as aid in sight-singing. Learn more about shape note singing here.

*Note: if the first Monday is a legal holiday, please check here to see if the date has been postponed a week.
