We’ve watched the rancor and bitterness of this election reach new highs (and new lows). We’ve seen that spirit of divisiveness seep into our communities, our neighborhoods, even our churches. This year, more than ever, we need to remind ourselves where true hope is found. We need to participate in holy acts of union and reconciliation. We need to break bread together. Join us on Tuesday, November 8, for Election Day Communion. Fr. Greg Foraker will join local clergy and will be available for prayer and communion from 11:30 a.m. – 1 p.m. in Old Town Square. At 12 noon, we’ll gather for a 15 minute prayer service. At 1 p.m., we’ll process from the Square to the courthouse. We are one in the Spirit, no matter how you vote. (Facebook event page here)
