Lessons & Carols with Bishop Kym

One of the most beautiful liturgies that we have inherited from the Anglican Tradition is the Service of Lessons and Carols. During Lessons and Carols we hear the stories of salvation right up to Jesus’ birth. The stories are both read aloud and sung. This year, because of COVID, we will begin the service with lessons and musical offerings from our choir indoors.

Our bishop will be with us and she will preach. Then we will move out to the lawn for the remainder of the service so that we may all sing some Advent Carols safely. After the service we will have fire pits set up outside for making s’mores and staying warm. Pizza will be available for lunch. And to add to the excitement of the day, our Bishop will be with us and we will celebrate the coming of Christ together.
