This introductory workshop is recommended for anyone interested in the Christian contemplative tradition and would like to learn about the method of Centering Prayer as introduced by Father Thomas Keating, O.C.S.O. During the workshop you will have the opportunity to:
• Learn about the Christian tradition of contemplative prayer
• Learn and practice the method of Centering Prayer
• Meet and discuss Centering Prayer with experienced Contemplative Outreach Centering Prayer presenters and facilitators.

Michelle Danson is an Episcopal priest who received her Masters of Divinity at the Iliff School of Theology, Denver. She is also a Spiritual Director with a Certificate in Christian Spirituality from The General Theological Seminary, NY. A firm believer in lifetime spiritual formation, Michelle is a retreat leader, a trained labyrinth facilitator and Reiki practitioner. She has completed further studies in Spiritual Direction with The Haden Institute in North Carolina, focusing on Jungian psychology, dream analysis, and contemplative spirituality.
