Advent Study

Tuesdays beginning 11/30 7:30-8:30pm on Zoom

We will begin an Advent study 11/30, the Tuesday after Thanksgiving, from 7:30-8:30 on Zoom.  Similar to last year’s Lenten study, we will begin with a brief period of silence and then discuss the week’s relatively short reading.  Our text will be from the same study series we used before, Bridges To Contemplative Living with Thomas Merton.  There are a few copies to be borrowed in the church library, or you may order your own for $6.00 from Amazon.  Having my own text in which to write marginal notes is my favored method.

I will limit to no more than 12 members so that the Zoom conversation doesn’t become too chaotic.  Please contact me if you intend to attend and/or if you have questions.  If more than twelve are interested, perhaps a second night (Sunday, Monday, or Thursday) could be arranged.
