A Home for All

Discerning St. Luke’s Call to Care for Creation and the Vulnerable People Who Inhabit it

Meetings once a month. In-person or Zoom to be determined by group.

Online reflections and research in digital group on Mighty Network in between meeting times.

Meeting Times – Tuesday September 14, October 26, November 9  6-7pm

Over the last year in Bible studies, worship and small groups, the people of St. Luke’s have been feeling called to do more to advocate for the vulnerable, and also to care for Creation. We’ve begun working on a project to make our building zero emissions, and we wonder what more we could do. This group will spend meaningful time exploring who we are as the people of St. Luke’s and what our strengths are. We will look at our Northern Colorado community and see how God is already at work through various non-profits. We will pray together and discern how St. Luke’s might be called to draw alongside the work of God in our community and make a difference in this world. In short, we will seek ways to make A Home For All both on our planet and in our community.

The group will meet together once a month this fall, either online or on Zoom depending on group comfort and public health. In between     meeting times, there will be weekly online reflections and tasks. We will read theologians, research community organizations and dive into the history of St. Luke’s. We ask that people post comments about this in-between work in a closed group in the St. Luke’s Mighty Network each week. New to our St. Luke’s Mighty Network? Don’t worry we will show you how to use it. If you are itching to make a difference in the world and know that our faith is what drives that work, this is the group for you.
