Mother Krista comes to us from Chapel of Our Saviour in Colorado Springs where she served as Associate Rector. Prior to her time at Chapel, Krista was a Curate at Christ Church in Short Hills, New Jersey. She heard her call to the priesthood while serving as a lay Youth Minister at Christ Church Bronxville, New York.

Before ordination Krista worked as a preschool teacher and danced professionally in New York.

Mother Krista, her husband John and their daughters Gabby and Molly are delighted to be new residents of Fort Collins.

Andrew came to St. Luke's as a staff singer in the Fall of 2013 while doing his masters studies in Choral Conducting at Colorado State University. After filling in as the Interim Music Director for a year, Andrew was officially brought on Director of Music in the Summer of 2015.

Andrew’s compositions, of varying idioms and styles, are frequently performed during St. Luke’s many weekly services.

He has one cat, named after a piece by Arvo Pärt.

Director of Youth Ministry

I have joyfully joined the St. Luke's and St. Paul Churches' youth ministry team as the Director of Youth Ministry. This adds up to many volunteers, two venues, one God, lots of St. Luke's/St. Paul youth and teens and plenty of thoughtful fun. My husband, Tom and I recently moved from Illinois to Colorado, to be closer to our two daughters and son-in-law. Also, it's so beautiful, here 🙂! I have been blessed to spend most of my career in both children's and youth ministry, in addition to being a mural artist, figure skating coach, working in recreation, constituent services and running an ice skating rink. The best parts of all of my previous jobs has been creatively working with children, youth, teens and adults, finding meaningful mission work for us to do together. Helping the environment, animals and people-in-need are also passions for me. Tom and I have adopted five retired racing greyhounds, one rescued cat, many parakeets and one horse.

I grew up in Centennial, CO and am currently in my third year at CSU. I am studying French and Civil Engineering. In my free time, I enjoy playing the French Horn, hiking, skiing, and spending time with my friends. I have been going to St. Luke’s for about two years now, and I am excited to be starting as the Coordinator for the Wonder Church!

Deacon

David Musser, a native of New Orleans, Louisiana, moved to Northern Colorado in January of 2020. His wife, The Reverend Lisa Flores Musser, is the new rector of Trinity Episcopal in Greeley. David earned his M.Div. degree at Virginia Theological Seminary and has extensive experience in hospital chaplaincy. He comes to St. Luke's as a Candidate for Holy Orders in the Episcopal Church in Colorado, and we welcome him as our transitional deacon. David is a pescatarian, and his interests include hiking, the New Orleans Saints, live music, and spending time with his family. He resides in Evans with his wife, their five-year-old son Gabriel, and their Goldendoodle puppy Teddy.

Lia was born and raised in Fort Collins and can't imagine leaving this beautiful state. She is a huge Colorado sports fan, and in her spare time, enjoys reading, crafting, shopping, being with friends & family, and baking.

She has a degree in Early Childhood Education from CSU and joined the staff at St. Luke's Preschool in 2011.
