Originally, Christianity was known simply as The Way.
It was a way of life and approach to God, grounded in what Jesus revealed to us in his life and ministry.
Michael Curry, our Presiding Bishop, describes the Episcopal Church as “The Episcopal Branch of the Jesus Movement.” I am leading a series of Spiritual Deepening topics this fall during which we will have the opportunity to discover how our Episcopal way is a way forward to Christ Jesus – a way that leads, not to a list of beliefs, but to a daily life rooted in our Jesus-inspired faith and growing in fellowship and joy.
The series began on October 8th with the topic "Teach Me How to Pray." If you missed it, do not worry: there are five more sessions (10/15, 10/22, 10/29, 11/5, and 11/19), and you may drop in to any session.
Please join us as we explore The Episcopal Way.
